Mick Clark

Mick Clarke He was born August 10 1946 in Humberside. The bassguitarist of the band grew up in Dagenham, where he formed his first band, together with Rick Westward, who nowadays is a guitarist with The Tremoloes. Mick also was a member with The Symbols, who had a hit with a.o. "Best Part of Breaking Up". At the beginning of the ninetees Mick left The Rubettes for a short while and in this period he played with other great names as The Jordanaires, Cliff Richard, Elton John en Shakin'Stevens. Nowadays he's back (oh lucky us!) and touring with the band. It might be worth mentioning that Mick sang leads on a.o. "Baby I Know" (what a voice!). From own expereince I dare say: "To know this man is to love him!"
